How to reset a Ploom device?

Resetting your Ploom AURA device is very simple:

1. Remove the device's front panel.

2. Carefully press and hold the button located under the panel for 5 seconds using a thin, blunt object, such as a pen.

3. The LED line will start blinking, and the device will vibrate. This means your Ploom AURA has been reset and is ready to use!

NOTE: If the red LED dot lights up for 5 seconds, it indicates a permanent device failure. In this scenario, the same light signal will appear when the device is connected to a USB-C cable. Permanent failures cannot be fixed by resetting the device.

Here's how to reset your Ploom X Advanced device:

1. Make sure that the slider is closed.

2. Gently pull the front panel to remove it.

3. Find the small button in the middle of your Ploom device, and press and hold it with an object with a thin, blunt tip (e.g., a pen).

4. Wait for your device to vibrate. If it doesn't, press the button again.

5. Once your Ploom X Advanced has vibrated, put the front panel back on.
